We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 NVSHP Pharmacist of the Year Award. This prestigious award will be presented during the NVSHP Annual Meeting on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Reno, Nevada.

Nomination Deadline:
All nominations must be submitted by Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at 11:59 PM (PST).

About the Award:
The NVSHP Pharmacist of the Year Award is presented annually to one NVSHP member who has demonstrated significant and sustained contributions to pharmacy practice in Nevada. Ideal candidates will exhibit many of the following qualities:

• Outstanding achievements in professional practice, including innovations, patient care improvements, or job performance.
• Active pursuit of professional development through formal/informal education or participation in technical and professional societies.
• Engagement in community service that enhances public welfare or morale.
• Recognition through awards or honors for exemplary job performance or service.
• Creativity, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Involvement in advisory councils, committees, and boards.
• Meaningful contributions to NVSHP and the advancement of the pharmacy profession.
